Story Title
I purchased my 1998 Mondeo Ghia in May 2000 after selling my Escort. Here is some info on servicing done and any problems.
Work done so far includes an Oil Change, Pollen Filter change and fixing a minor Water leak on the water tank bottom hose. I have also helped my Dad to change the Thermostat.
Under warranty, I have had the CD player replaced since I was getting Error Code E16 which means "CD detection error".
Full 30K service and MOT has been done on the car with no problems. Had the AirCon serviced by AutoAir, found the link from the Honest John site during Spring 2001.
Had to replace a foam strip under the radiator. It was hanging down since it had become unstuck from the undertray. Had the remote locking fail, dealer had to reset the locking module, cost £19. Also had a faulty bonnet switch which was setting the alarm off, cost £12 to replace.
Service done by local dealer for £130.
