I have decided to spend some £££ and upgrade the 12v wiring. I am doing the following:

Replacing the down lead from the battery to the 706 (battery to first connector).

Changing the 706 power cable to a plain one and putting the EMC filter equiped cable into my junk box.

Fitting a temp controlled fan into the top of the lining basket which sits over the rig.

Fitting an MFJ 4416 Power booster when they decide to make it!
