Faults and Servicing
Only minor problem is a knocking from the steering which is a common fault. Had it done by the supplying dealer, Evans Autos, also had a sticking cup holder fixed.
June 2003: Fitted mudflaps and headlamp protectors supplied by FordPartsUK.
October 2003: Had handbrake lever replaced under recall and some corrosion corrected
November 2003: Had 2nd year service
May 2004: Had Oil change done a Rapid Fit Croydon
Nov 2004: Had Major Service done at Rapid Fit, also had tracking done which they totally messed up. Got refund, got it sorted by Just Tyres.
Nov 2004: More corrosion, this time on the top of the rear passenger door (under B piller) and on the bottom of the front passanger door, all done under warranty.
2005: Except for water leaking in behind the door cards, no problems. Gave the paintwork a clean with a Clay Bar. Fitted replacement interior handles which smarten the interior up somewhat, used washers and a hot glue gun to fix them.
